It should be a piece of cake to control compared the the stock motor.Īn other option could be to modify the spring tension and try to Se it that has ant effect. I've got an other throttle bodie that I'm thinking of modyfi by making either large studs on each side of the throttle and mount a big Bosch air idle valve. That explains why it is so difficult to control. When it first has been moved the movement requires less current. I feel like the throtle/idle motor requires a serten amount of current to get it moving /overcome the throttle springtension. Then it catches the throtle at about 3000rpm and slowly lowers it to a steady idle at about the right rpm. There is no reaction when I turn up the duty cycle until I reach above about 20% then it kicks in at raises the rpm to 3-4000!īelow 20% nothing happens until I push the throtle. The cold idle is not working for me either. And I I dare to let it catch idle after I rew it up it dies. I made a adjustable stop for the throtle and with that adjusted the idle to a perfect steady 900rpm hot.Īs soon as I turn on my A/C it pulls the rpm down to 650. Bump ZOSGinaBruno, This is actually really important, and should be looked into. The inactivity timer NEEDS to be extended to a minimum of 1 hour, maybe even 2 hours. I have changed that so the MS is controlling the negative side. The stock ECU is controling the positive wire and the other is grounded.(on most cars I´ve seen it is controlled by tor ECU by the negative side.) The Throtle body is stock and is the same you can find in various V.A.G cars I´m realy struggling with the idle control and I cant seem to get it to work proberly. I need to address some misfire issues and I have desided to change the stock coils and ignition module and go for the red top FSI coils. Still a little warm-up tuning and trimming the fuel table bus is starts and it runs for now about 700km I have got most of the most of the mapping done. I´ve just got my old Audi(1998) A6 1.8t with AEB engine up and running with MS.
